1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Bcee mobile app or Bcee website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.
2. Description of Service
Bcee provides bookkeeping services, payment trackers, lucky draw lottery selectors, and digital statements for rotating savings and credit associations (ROSCAs, Kametis, or Chit Funds). The service is designed solely as a bookkeeping utility to document agreements, ledger payments, and conduct random member selection for payouts.
3. No Financial Custody or Brokerage
Bcee is not a bank, investment broker, financial advisor, or payment custodian. We do not hold, manage, distribute, process, or coordinate any monetary transactions or funds among members.
⚠️ Critical Disclaimer
All financial deposits, cash transactions, bank wires, and payout distributions are arranged directly between the group organizer and the group members. Bcee is not responsible for member payment defaults, organizers failing to pay members, or any lost funds.
4. Account Registration & Security
To use Bcee as a group manager, you must register an account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
Members who track their passbooks using a 6-character code are responsible for keeping their code secure. Anyone with access to the code can view that member's ledger payments and payout history.
5. Prohibited Use Cases
You agree not to use the app or website to:
- Engage in illegal gambling, scams, pyramid schemes, or unregistered deposit-taking activities.
- Violate local financial regulations, tax requirements, or licensing frameworks.
- Harass, defraud, or impersonate other members or entities.
- Upload malicious files, scripts, or attempt unauthorized database access to the Supabase endpoint.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Bcee, its creators, or its hosting partners be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Bcee, even if Bcee has been notified of the possibility of such damage.
The materials appearing on Bcee could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Bcee does not warrant that any of the materials on its website or app are accurate, complete, or current.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use Bcee will immediately cease.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
